I need Redskins, Why? because It will make me work hard at school. You know how I hate maths? If I have a couple of Redskins then I’ll be ready to work. My mind will be set and ready to race through the task set productively and focus entirely on the work. If I’m grumpy or sad and I don't want to do my work have a Redskin. The sugar will go through me and then i'll go back to my work in no time! If the classrooms noise level is too much for you to handle give everyone a Redskin. Everyone will immediately stop talking and the noise level will plummet. Every will be eating the lolly. No time for talking!

You know Mr Billings, what the taste of a Redskin is like. The sweet sensation slowy melting in your mouth and you just feel AMAZING! I know right now you'll surely be thinking of grabbing a Redskin! If you give us these you'll feel great about yourself. Giving that feeling to all your students. Just like helping poor homeless hungry kids.

 

We deserve Redskins because we work hard. Well…sometimes in class but definitely in music and tech. We work hard because we know that there will be an end reward. Such as in tech if you work hard you could end up with a delicious meal or some sort of creation. Entirely done with hard work and perseverance. That then pushes us to work hard to reach the reward.

 

Just think about the life you would have. A noise free classroom, a great feeling helping children and students that work productively and finish work to your standard!

Outdoor learning persuasive writing

I’m writing to you today to tell you why we should should invest some time and work into the space outside room 11. My reasoning and helpful comments hopely persuade you to revamp this space.

The space is dangerous. It has tiles poking up and someone is bound to trip over. There are odd nails and screws, I myself have stood on sharp stuff and it hurts.

When the ground is wet the ground tends to get slippery.The space is not a place where anyone would enjoy working. I think if you don’t do anything about it now  then it’s just a waste of a potential working space.

This space doesn't catch your eye. The sheltered area and the old blue seat don’t make it enticing. The colours are plain and don’t make it pop. There are weeds popping out from everywhere. This space needs a makeover.

I think we could make this space a really cool learning space. We could grow some grass and add some plants. We could make it suitable for classes to be taught. Bean bags, chairs, tables, colour and hard work could make this project happen!

National donut day

National donut day.

This may seem like a ridiculous subject but it has a meaning behind it. People celebrate a day like this because in WW1 soldiers were feeling home sick so some people had an idea. It was to make donuts to lift the soldiers spirits. Two volunteers by the names of Ensign Margaret Sheldon and Adjutant Helen Purviance decided to make donuts. It wasn't that easy because of the war there were limited ingredients flour, sugar and oil. It wasn’t that easy without rolling pins and cookie cutters. The soldiers would line up for hours on end just to get the taste of home. When the girls first started they produced only 150 as they got better they produced 9000. From this day on soldiers still carry this on. On the 2nd june using the exact same recipe the soldiers used!
